‘The extravagance of luxury, the simplicity of functionality’ is the key concept underlying every single piece of Barney Cheng’s haute-couture gowns.
Located at the heart of Central, Barney Cheng’s studio offers the following services:
Custom-Make-Order: Clients are offered the exclusive opportunity of having gowns uniquely designed for them by Barney Cheng.
1: Studio Visit & Design Consultation
• Introduction to Barney’s studio and gowns
• Understand the client’s objectives and wishes
• 3 designs will be drawn for selection during consultation
• After confirmation of design, your measurements will be taken down by one of our skilled tailors.
• Discuss and determine client’s choice of color theme and fabric
• Discuss the addition of embroidery, beading and lace detailing if required

2: Mock Fit
• First fit of garment to ensure proportions are correct
• Alterations and adjustments
• Look & feel of the piece
(Two free fittings will be included for mock-fit sessions – subsequent fittings will induce a $3,800 charge/ session)
3: Real Fabric Fit
• Fitting of the garment made with the real fabric including handiwork
• Final alterations and adjustments
• Final touches made to the gown
(Two free fittings will be included for the real-fabric fit– subsequent fittings will induce a $3,800 charge/ session)
4: Delivery
• Discuss delivery methods
• Packaging
• Pick up or delivery
(A surcharge will be induced if shipping is required)
5: Payment
Consultation:
- First consultation is free of charge
- Second consultation will be charged HK$3800 if no order is placed. Should an order be placed, then the said sum will be contributable to the final price of order
- Each session is allocated 45 minutes only. Overtime will be charged at HK$3,800/ session
- Outcall consultation (HK/KLN/NT Area) at client location will be charged at HK$3,800/session

Rush Order:
- Suggested minimum production lead time is 4- 6 months
- Order deliveries required within a 3-month period is considered a rush order
- Full payment will be charged on rush orders
- All rush orders will incur a 50% surcharge
- Surcharge is final and non-refundable
